Malhadinha Nova is a family organic wine production Estate, created and developed by the family from scratch, in one of the less populated region in Europe.

Being a family wine estate, very artisanal. We also have a philosophy of a family welcome, so coming back to Malhadinha is like coming back home.
The wine is the central pillar, but we develop a whole concept of sustainability and farm to table concept. All the vegetable gardens and fruits surround the restaurant and its normal to see around free, the chickens, turkeys, peacocks…
Portugal and specially Alentejo has a strong wine and gastronomy heritage. At Malhadinha, we breed the autochthonous cattle, sheep and black pig. It’s the memories of the genuine and simple aromas and tastes that we want to share in every experience. We want to share the sense of the place, the history, the culture and the tradition. The wines produced in a very artisanal and natural way should be something to remember.
We share the passion for wine for sure, but also we share the passion for tradition, for the culture, for Nature and its really that relation with the space that we want our guests to feel.
