Chef de Cuisine Remco Kuijpers* has gained extensive experience in high-level gastronomy and worked with some of the most talented people in the industry. He started his career as an apprentice chef at De Swaen in Oisterwijk and subsequently worked at top restaurants such as Da Vinci, Vermeer and Fitzgerald. He is always eager to share his passion and use his know-how to create an unique and impressive culinary experience.

Remco Kuijpers' personal style fits in well with LIZZ’s. He has a green heart, which makes LIZZ the green heart of WSHS and WSHS the green heart of Gouda.
The chef carefully chooses his ingredients from local suppliers and producers, and uses these to create fresh and nutritious dishes. He takes the seasons very serious. He even adjusts his cooking to the weather changes; on a nice and sunny day the sauce that is served with a sea bass will be light, on a cold or drizzly day the same sauce will be fuller.
