A few steps from the center of Madrid, the Sandoval brothers present you with a culinary voyage that is far from conventional. When Antonio Santini’s grandparents opened the Pescatore in 1926, it was a small family restaurant. Today it is one of the most renowned restaurants in Italy. Between Cremona and Mantua, in the Parco dell’Oglio nature reserve, family members share the tasks. In the kitchen, Nadia and Giovanni prepare refined, generous cuisine: lobster terrine with caviar or the renowned tortelli di zucca, with butter and Parmigiano Reggiano, a recipe perfected and handed down over three generations. Nestled in the heart of Manhattan, Lyon-born Chef Daniel Boulud has become one of America’s most celebrated chef-restaurateurs. His reputation may be international, but his warm, welcoming style remains very personal. His mantra is to “prepare the finest American produce according to French culinary tradition.” Superb ingredients are skillfully combined, elevating rustic dishes to new levels of refinement, sophistication and pleasure. In Boulud’s masterful hands, the best American regional products, from Nantucket Bay scallops to Montana beef, are cooked to perfection in a restaurant where a contemporary décor is elegantly juxtaposed with striking neoclassical architecture.

Daniel

At the tender age of just seven years old, Chef Philippe Chevrier already knew he would become a chef, having inherited a passion for cooking from his mother and grandmother, who prepared regional, family-style, hearty cuisine. He realized a dream when he became the owner of Domaine de Châteauvieux in 1986–ever since, his proprietorship has been an excellent reason to stop in the heart of Satigny, the largest wine-growing region in Switzerland, just a few kilometers outside Geneva. Philippe Chevrier surrounds himself with a talented team, including chef François Periers and pastry chef Manuel Pereira, who work with the finest ingredients. Amid a beautiful natural setting, Domaine de Châteauvieux is an exceptional destination for curious epicureans in search of new discoveries and authenticity. This former winegrower's farm, which dates to the 16th century, also offers guest rooms that combine timeless charm with contemporary touches.

Locguénolé is located next to the dark waters of a sea inlet in the heart of a land of legends. The Château and the small Manor House overlook a wide estuary where the light and landscape change with the tides. Around thirty years ago, in the now-trendy district Warehouse District of New Orleans, between art galleries and vintage boutiques, chef Emeril Lagasse opened Emeril’s, the restaurant from which he began conquering America with his Creole and Cajun cuisine typical of the Louisiana region.
Enthroned as a successful culinary professional, an American television celebrity chef, and author of numerous cookbooks, the chef decided to turn over the helm of his restaurant to his son, Emeril John IV. In the warmly welcoming decor of Emeril’s gourmet restaurant, as well as in the more relaxed Wine Bar, the young chef faithfully carries on his father’s labor of love through season-specific signature menus composed with ingredients sourced from a handful of carefully selected farmers from the region. Guests love being invited to tour the kitchens to see what will soon be served to them once they are seated.

Emeril's

In the heart of picturesque Cumbria, in the northwest of England, Farlam Hall is a haven of peace bordered by ancient trees, many of which are reflected in the estate's ponds. This discreet yet elegant country manor will delight nature lovers and city dwellers looking for a recuperative countryside break far from the frenzy of modern life. The area is a renowned walker's paradise, with the magnificent North Pennines mountain range and Hadrian's Wall just a short drive away. The park and gardens of Farlam Hall reveal a unique beauty, season after season, while the cozy and warm atmosphere of its shared spaces invite you to forget the passage of time. Decorated with typically English furniture, its bright rooms and suites invite relaxation and rest. This imposing 17th-century building, which stands on the left bank of the river in Blois, is home to the Fleur de Loire hotel. This welcoming property, designed in an eco-responsible way, is a true haven of tranquility. Just two hours from Paris, it is the ideal starting point to explore the region and the châteaux of the Loire in particular. At his gourmet restaurant and at the Amour Blanc restaurant, Chef Christophe Hay shares his passion for regional local products, which he serves with fruit and vegetables grown in his large vegetable garden.
