Ballyfin is a Manor House built in 1826 that offers the forgotten luxuries of the early 19th century with the comfort of the 21st century. It is most definitely a home rather than a hotel.
As Ballyfin is a private property which only accounts for 20 rooms, the maximum number of guests the 87-strong team has to cater for is 39 guests. This, combined with the world renowned Irish welcome, makes it a very homely experience.
We want each of our guests to leave us feeling that they have had a travel experience of a lifetime filled with memories they will cherish for years to come. Not a small task, but for certain our ambition.
Our guests’ time at Ballyfin can be spent in so many ways either very actively by indulging in the many activities we have to offer; clay pigeon shooting, archery, fishing, tennis, horse riding, pony & carriage ride, or simply being pampered in the Spa or curled up in one of the sofas near the fire place. However they choose to spend their time, they will be cocooned by the team.
