In a relaxed atmosphere, the Club offers great classics of brasserie-style cuisine and original creations, with a different menu every day. In the summer, twice a week weather permitting, meats barbecued on the grill or cooked “a la plancha are also on the menu. A rotisserie installed on the terrace delivers juicy and deliciously browned poultry.

Le Club Restaurant

The boundless charm of this estate works its magic as soon as you cross the gates. A 15th century castle nestles in the heart of magnificent parkland with ancient trees and outbuildings housing the guest rooms. Each of the rooms boasts an original décor and they all exude warmth, authenticity and sophistication: also the hallmark of the Chef’s inventive cuisine at Le Club, and of the décor of the bar in the former stable block which has preserved the ancient marble feed and water troughs. The Cour Carrée spa is a perfect haven of peace offering well-being and peace of mind and the 18-hole golf course, designed by Henry Cotton, provides superb views over the castle.

Located beneath a glass roof, and with lush nature all around, the Spa de la Cour Carrée at Domaine de Bretesche is the perfect place to unwind and recharge in an atmosphere filled with serenity. Professional therapists channel their expertise using Cinq Mondes and Omnisens products to provide relaxing massages and soothing sensorial therapies. This 5,400-square-foot/500-square-meter space also includes a heated indoor pool and herbal tea room with large picture windows.

Discover the estate's permaculture ornamental gardens. Along its paths, admire approximately 10,000 flowers and perennial plants, all carefully cultivated by the head gardener, Gonzalo. Don't miss the five-acre/two-hectare vegetable garden-fruits, vegetables and herbs grown here delight restaurant guests all year round. You will undoubtedly also encounter some of our free-range chickens, which roam the estate freely, and which provide eggs served for breakfast each day.

Visiting the Suscinio estate with the family allows you to become completely immersed in medieval history, following in the footsteps of the legendary knights to have captured our imaginations. Emerging from the forest, the 13th century fortress built between land and sea, offers a breathtaking panoramic view across the Morbihan Bay. The curtain wall, wall walk, arrow slits and machicolations all contribute to the landscape, revealing how powerful the Duchy of Brittany was.

Château de Suscinio: a timeless trip to the Rhuys Peninsula

Between Redon and the ocean, minor roads and footpaths hug the winding Vilaine river. Follow them to see sailboats traveling up the river, or choose to explore one of the most picturesque villages in France. La Roche-Bernard offers two different points of view embracing the charm of its ancient past. High up on its rocky promontory, the village is dominated by Château de Ruicard. Built on the side of the rock, the medieval buildings, private mansions, and 15th century half-timbered house reveal the architectural diversity in the village. Below, you'll find the old port with its historic buildings. End your day on the rocky headland at sunset to enjoy an exceptional view of the Vilaine and surrounding area.
