A stroll around our organic gardens

Discover the estate's permaculture ornamental gardens. Along its paths, admire approximately 10,000 flowers and perennial plants, all carefully cultivated by the head gardener, Gonzalo. Don't miss the five-acre/two-hectare vegetable garden-fruits, vegetables and herbs grown here delight restaurant guests all year round. You will undoubtedly also encounter some of our free-range chickens, which roam the estate freely, and which provide eggs served for breakfast each day.

Château de Suscinio: a timeless trip to the Rhuys Peninsula

Visiting the Suscinio estate with the family allows you to become completely immersed in medieval history, following in the footsteps of the legendary knights to have captured our imaginations. Emerging from the forest, the 13th century fortress built between land and sea, offers a breathtaking panoramic view across the Morbihan Bay. The curtain wall, wall walk, arrow slits and machicolations all contribute to the landscape, revealing how powerful the Duchy of Brittany was.

La Roche-Bernard, city of character on the banks of the Vilaine

Between Redon and the ocean, minor roads and footpaths hug the winding Vilaine river. Follow them to see sailboats traveling up the river, or choose to explore one of the most picturesque villages in France. La Roche-Bernard offers two different points of view embracing the charm of its ancient past. High up on its rocky promontory, the village is dominated by Château de Ruicard. Built on the side of the rock, the medieval buildings, private mansions, and 15th century half-timbered house reveal the architectural diversity in the village. Below, you'll find the old port with its historic buildings. End your day on the rocky headland at sunset to enjoy an exceptional view of the Vilaine and surrounding area.
