The cheese cellar is the domain of Roberto, our master cheese maker. This is where the best cheeses from our region and the Italian Alps are ripened, and it also houses cheeses from the Parma region and other treasures from southern Italy.The wine cellar is run by our sommelier, Rino. It boasts nearly 2,000 labels: great traditional names of wine culture which are renowned throughout the world sit side-by-side with equally appreciable wines from smaller and lesser known vineyards.Once a week, Rino organises a wine tasting.

Cogne, located in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, is particularly suitable for Nordic skiing with its 50 miles of trails and 11 loops that wind between trees and mountain streams. In this preserved nature setting, it is not uncommon to see ibexes, chamois and ermines. Downhill skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the family ski area and its 5 miles of slopes spread across the fir forest from the top of Montseuc. With the Grand-Paradis glaciers as a backdrop, the resort, at an altitude ranging from 5,033 to 7,536 feet above sea level, offers excellent quality snow. As for the famous glacier, it is ideal for ski touring, with more than 620 itineraries proposed around the Saint-Ursus meadow.
