From an enogastronomic viewpoint, during the last decade, the Maremma region has grown in popularity and success; staff of the Gallia Palace Beach&Golf Resort is available to organize tours with wine tastings of the territory's main cellars like Rocca di Frassinello, designed and planned by Renzo Piano with a modern design which recalls the Greek theater, Le Mortelle, with its estate and biological products, Petra Wine, designed by architect Mario Botta, and the Argentiera Farm, with its historical and monumental structure.

The Punta Ala golf course has few artificial barriers, and for good reason: the natural barrier that constitutes the Mediterranean scrub is enough to make it an absolutely fascinating and very technical course with quite unique holes. The first, a 310 metre downhill par 4 with a breathtaking view of the castle, Elba Island and Punta Ala Bay. At the end of a long course covering more than 6,000 metres, the last hole, offering one of most beautiful settings in Europe, gives you a spectacular view: at the bottom, the last green is surrounded by water, which gives the impression that the ball is going to end up in the clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. You can take a refreshing drink and relax a little on the terrace of the Golf Club, listening to birdsong while you enjoy the superb landscape.'
