12th- & 18th-century palacesdeep in the Gothic quarterrooftop with poolcozy atmosphere

One of the impressive façades of the Neri, tucked away in the heart of the romantic Gothic district, gives onto Sant Felip Neri square, a magical place with Gothic edifices and the church where Gaudí used to come to pray every day. This hotel was created when, in the 18th century, two mansions merged – one dating from the Middle Ages. It boasts a delightful décor, blending period features with ultra-modern design. The chef creates a Mediterranean cuisine with a seasonal menu in this private, welcoming restaurant. At the top of the building, “Roba Estesa” is an oasis in the city, where you can enjoy vistas of the city at nightfall, while trying delicious tapas.

Sant Felip Neri Plaza

"Sant Felip Neri Plaza, in a hidden corner of the Gothic quarter, is one of the city's most picturesque and romantic squares. It is a place anchored in history, with the Sant Felip Neri Baroque church in which Gaudi used to come to pray daily, and Gothic buildings which were moved and reconstructed stone by stone in the mid-20th century".

Roba Estesa

"On the hotel's fourth floor, discover Roba Estesa, an oasis in the heart of Barcelona, and the perfect place to savour a cocktail at the end of the day. Away from the noise of the city, this urban garden is a perfect meeting place to enjoy the warm climate at dusk".

Cultural getaway

A unique opportunity to stay in an exclusive 18th-century castle located in the Gothic Quarter of the "City of Counts". Forget about the modern-day world, and travel back to medieval times, where you can reconstruct the history of Barcelona while contemplating the small Saint Felip Neri Square, presided over by the baroque Sant Felip Neri church and its fountain. Strolling just a few meters from the hotel through the narrow medieval streets that form the Gothic Quarter, you'll be able to visit Barcelona's Gothic Cathedral, and by continuing along Bisbe street, you'll arrive at Sant Jaume Square, which is the political center of Barcelona. Don't forget to visit the Picasso Museum, or stroll through the Plaça Reial (Royal Plaza), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), Jewish Quarter, or the Born District, where you can visit the wonderful Santa María del Mar church. Barcelona is steeped in history, and what better way to become part of this city's history than to stay at the Hotel Neri.

Feel like you are part of history

Located in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter between the Cathedral and the Palau de la Generalitat, just a few steps away from the Boquearía market. A 12th century Medieval palace was merged with a Gothic mansion in the 18th century to create the architectural ensemble which is now the Hotel Neri. Our exclusive hotel with just 22 rooms provides guests with the privilege of being part of history while enjoying 21st century comfort.
