Unique in the world: Cellar, farm, restaurant and lodge all in one – it is one of a kind and utterly charming.
Narbona Wine Lodge is an estate restored to preserve its early-1900s features. Its focus on authenticity has also seen a return to former activities: orchards, a kitchen garden, and dairy, complement its vines to create a model of self-sufficiency.
The renovation of this extensive property has preserved all its original features. The estate includes a vineyard, orchards, one of the most famous wineries in Uruguay, a kitchen garden, and dairy farm. Drawing on a daily supply of fresh milk from the estate's cows, the property's dairy produces a range of specialties. These include cheese, yogurt, ice cream, and what is reputed to be some of the country's best “dulce de leche”—a traditional milk confection with the appearance and taste of caramel.
