The Old Rectory is a beautiful wisteria-covered Georgian villa, which has been refurbished to provide the ultimate in comfort while keeping with its original style. This three-storey home can accommodate up to seven guests, who will certainly enjoy the lovely walks through the bucolic countryside. Other special moments include convivial meals in the large dining room or on the terrace, by the private outdoor pool in a secluded part of the garden, or on the croquet lawn. Oh, how sweet life is at this marvellous retreat!

Elegant Georgian detached house on 3 floors
The ground floor offers a spacious living area with large well-equipped kitchen, a relaxed sitting room and more formal drawing room with French doors leading out onto the garden, a dining room with circular table for 8 persons, and a study
Spread over the two upper floors, all of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and offer delightful views over the gardens and towards the ruins of the Gothic chapel, a feature in the grounds of Hartwell’s estate
The first floor accommodates the master suite offering a sumptuous four poster bedroom with adjoining private sitting room and an en-suite bathroom, and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom
The second floor accommodates a double (or twin bedded) room and a single bedroom, both full of character and charm
A highlight is the private outdoor swimming pool set in a secluded part of the garden, and a croquet lawn
