The little-known Plaine-des-Maures National Nature Reserve is a true western setting! Olivier and Virginie Paxé, owners of the Oratoire honey farm, have been creating and perfecting exciting workshops for children for many years. Discover the world of bees through a glass beehive, learn about its role in nature, and experience the taste of fresh pollen and a variety of honeys. Depending on the day's harvest, the children may be able to participate in extracting and bottling honey.

Created in 1969, the beautiful La Barben Zoo shelters more than 600 animals from 130 different species. Lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, rhinos, tapirs, meerkats, crocodiles, and vultures provide an enchanting spectacle. Accessible by marked trails, the enclosures are scattered over 82 acres. A small train, and picnic/playground areas are set up along a route surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation.

Passionate about cycling, Andy Rihs was the owner of Coquillade Village and head of the famous BMC bike brand. He set up an on-site showroom where racing bikes, mountain bikes and top-of-the-line electric bikes (the racing bikes were used in the Tour de France) are now available for rent.
