Chef Martin Herrmann, the figurehead of the Dollenberg, focuses on the elements which are absolutely indispensable for the dishes. He creates an inventive cuisine inspired by France and the Baden terroir.

"In the past, the chalet model 'Mountain station and cafe' held first place in the local network. Today, Renchtalhütte welcomes guests and hikers in chalets with a natural charm that's typical of the black forest in this little corner of paradise overhanging the Rench valley, and which offer a breathtaking view. Here, the black forest and the Alsace bring together their cuisines for a traditional feast that plays on the borders.

Wander around, have a taste and watch over the cooks' shoulders and even uncover their cookery secrets. Discover the delights held by the many saucepans and stoves and the divine nectars which marvelously finish off the various dishes - and enjoy live music in the kitchen and the restaurant!
