In the heart of historic Gouda, Weeshuis Gouda is redefining itself by welcoming Pascal Jalhay as Culinary Director. An iconic figure in Dutch gastronomy–as the youngest chef in the Netherlands to have been awarded two Michelin stars–he joins Remco Kuijpers, Executive Chef of the property’s Michelin-starred restaurant LIZZ. Together, the two chefs are shaping a shared vision where experience, creativity and collaboration come together. Their partnership marks an exciting new direction for the property, as it reimagines its culinary offer and seeks to enhance the experience it offers guests–all while remaining true to the spirit of hospitality and conviviality that has long characterized Weeshuis Gouda.
