At over 5,000 feet above sea level, not far from Bolzano, the contemporary architecture of the Terra Hotel-The Magic Place blends harmoniously with its wider environment. Inside, massive tree trunks, natural wood and soft colors create an elegant, contemporary yet warm atmosphere that instantly channels a sense of relaxation. Its dining room–bathed in light streaming through its floor-to-ceiling windows–reveals spectacular panoramic views of the Dolomites, a hiker's paradise. On the grounds of Terra - The Magic Place, nature unveils her treasures every day, delicacies like sarcodon mushrooms, yarrow, Iceland moss, and oxalis. The chef harvests up to forty botanical varieties not found in stores to create one-of-a-kind menus, experimenting extensively with these precious, mysterious plants before assigning them their rightful place in the kitchen. Each dish thus becomes a high-wire act, balancing instinct and refinement, showcasing the most delicious things the forest has to offer.
