Not far from the Route of the White Villages, the pride of southern Andalusia, Finca La Donaira is perched above the Serranía de Ronda, deep in farming country spanning more than 1,700 acres. A landscape of meadows, ancient oak forests, and Roman and Arab ruins – all creating an atmosphere of contemplative serenity.
Designed as a holistic, environmentally friendly haven, Finca La Donaira features a farmhouse and outbuildings, carefully renovated with natural materials, such as adobe, wood and stone, while preserving the original beams and frames. In the rooms and suites with whitewashed walls, the polished floors are brightened with colorful, rustic rugs. Every room and suite of this 111 year old “Cortijo” has been uniquely designed, furnished with rare antiques, custom pieces, and original artwork. Finca La Donaira offers a broad variety of experiences: cuisine crafted with ingredients from the estate’s organic farm, relaxation at the spa, yoga classes, and horseback riding with the property’s Lusitanian horses.
