The thrill of safari

The bush reveals itself in different ways, depending on the time of day and how it is explored. In a jeep, guided by a ranger, you’ll travel through the estate at dawn or sunset in search of the Big Five–lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and buffalo. Alternatively, led by a guide on foot, you’ll discover details that you might otherwise have overlooked, from animal tracks to fascinating botanical life, with a chance to spot up to 350 bird species.

Magical moments with the family

At Jabulani, safari experiences are for the whole family to enjoy, especially within the Zindoga Villa, which accommodates up to eight guests. While adults relax, kids can participate in the JabuJuniors program, supervised by a team that immerses them in African wildlife through nature discovery activities. They’ll learn to recognize species and better appreciate the challenges of conservation.

Meet the elephants

Learn about Jabulani’s resident herd of elephants in the company of keepers who have cared for them over two decades. From a respectful distance, you can watch the animals as they move freely, engaged in their daily activities–this is a chance to better appreciate their natural behaviors, as well as understand the challenges related to their conservation. The group is part of a program led by the HERD Trust, dedicated to the rehabilitation and protection of elephants.
