The ancient city of Vilnius is a Unesco World Heritage site and had a profound influence on the cultural and architectural development of a large part of Europe. Despite the invasions and destruction that it suffered in its history, it still has many renaissance, gothic, baroque and classical architectural gems. “Stikliai” is Lithuanian for glass blowers and this hotel is ideally situated in the trade quarter, where, from the 17th to the 19th centuries, glass blowers had their workshops. Today, the Stikliai Hotel is a delightful little house, with a winter garden. The attentive staff will leave you with a lasting memory of a warm and welcoming Lithuania.

Located in Södermalm, a fashionable district known for its boutiques and art galleries, Stockholm Stadshotell is the ideal place from which to soak up local life and explore the Swedish capital. It is housed in a magnificent 19th-century residence, listed as a national heritage site. Its owners, experts in renovation, art and design, have conceived an intimate and refined atmosphere, where décor combines soft tones, artisanal furniture and works of art. This identity is also expressed through photographic exhibitions curated by the resident artistic director. Susana Balbo, Argentina’s first female winemaker, has been crafting wines for more than a quarter century in her bodega in Agrelo, a renowned wine-growing region just 25 minutes from Chacras de Coria. Here is in this small village just outside Mendoza, with her daughter Ana, she established Susana Balbo Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites. At this lovely historic residence, its walls graced with works by local artists, the verdant grounds are home to seven suites decorated with textiles in neutral hues, each with its own private garden. Each one is a relaxing, intimate paradise with a large bathtub, sensory shower, sauna, and massage table. Experiences at Susana Balbo Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites focus  primarily on the world of wine (tastings, introduction to wine production, etc.). In the small town of Brusciano, about fifteen kilometres from Naples, take a seat under the shade of Vesuvius and embark on a generous culinary journey at Taverna Estia. Chef Francesco Sposito has been offering a modern and inventive cuisine inspired by traditional recipes from Campania since 2005. You will quickly be seduced by his unique interpretation of Neapolitan classics or by dishes like his fettuccine with pink shrimp tartare, accompanied by a wine specially chosen by his brother Mario Sposito, the restaurant’s sommelier and maître de maison. The ‘territory’ of this camp is built into the thick riverine forest located on the Zambezi River’s edge, in the private 118,000 hectares (291,000 acres) Sapi Private Reserve east of Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park. All tents offer their own private indoor lounge area, outdoor swimming pool, (with exercise bikes on a wide veranda) and outdoor dining area combining canvas and stone walls. Each tent comes complete with a Canon professional camera and lenses, plus Leica binoculars for guests to use whilst they are with us in Sapi.
