A new wine cellar by Pei

A new wine cellar by Pei

Seven years of reflection was the time devoted to conceiving and designing the new wine cellar of the prestigious Château Lynch-Bages. In order to optimize the winemaking process for this Médoc Grand Cru Classé, the Cazes family worked with Chien Chung Pei (son of the builder of the Louvre pyramid). The architect designed 'a place suffused with light' where 80 stainless steel tanks are now installed. The convergence of an architectural vision and an exceptional wine.
