High above the dramatic coastline of southwest Scotland, overlooking the Irish Sea and the iconic Ailsa Craig Island, sits Glenapp Castle. This baronial castle is hidden from the rugged surrounding landscape by 110 acres of magical parkland including an Italian garden designed by the renowned horticulturalist Gertrude Jekyll. Underneath its fairytale towers and turrets are imposing rooms with rich fabrics, art and antiques echoing the splendour of a bygone era. With award-winning international cuisine, Glenapp Castle is the ideal base for country sports and world-class golf. Glenapp’s all-weather boat allows guests to explore the surrounding Scottish isles and whisky distilleries, or to fish and observe the spectacular wildlife.
