Chasa Montana, in the heart of the village of Samnaun, has all the attractions of a beautiful mountain chalet. It boasts a wealth of delightful places to simply linger: under the shady parasols on the terrace, in the seclusion of a private balcony or in the superb spa overlooking the mountains. The hotel’s restaurants offer a variety of fare, from gourmet cuisine at La Miranda to delicious cheese raclette and fondue at La Grotta, which can be paired with any of the 1,500-plus vintages from around the world featured on the wine list. Maître de maison Daniel Eisner and the hotel’s sommeliers will be delighted to give you a private guided tour of the exceptional wine cellar where you can discover more than 20,000 bottles.

The floating bath, which involves gently floating in salted water which is kept at body-temperature, offers a unique relaxation experience accompanied by an interplay of coloured lighting and underwater music.

Located in a vast 16,000-square-foot/1,500-square-meter space, the Montana spa is a true oasis of well-being. The complex offers a sauna area with steam baths, as well as an aquatic universe comprising several pools, surrounded by relaxation areas designed for absolute relaxation.

In winter, enjoy carving skiing on 250 km of slopes in the grounds which cross the Samnaun-Ischgl border. While skiing you'll never be quite sure which country you're in, but you can always be sure that you've come to the most wonderful snow-covered location in the Alps. From the hotel, a shuttle bus takes you to the Saumnaun resort in just 2 minutes. At the end of the day, you have the possibility of skiing directly back to your hotel. The Silvretta Arena Samnaun-Ischgl has 148 miles of trails and 45 lifts, making it the largest ski area in the Eastern Alps. The slopes located between 5,577 and 9,416 feet above sea level enjoy superb snow cover from November to May. The resort is home to the largest snow park in Europe, whose halfpipes and boardercross will delight skiers and snowboarders who love thrills and tricks of all kinds.
