The architects who led its modern makeover succeeded in preserving its original character, while enhancing its connections to the land by adding beautiful panoramic terraces. The hotel’s colorful decor bears the signature of Portuguese artist Maria Keil, blending 1940s design with contemporary artisanship, such as ceilings lined with burel wool.
