At the end of the 17th century the first spa hotel, Bad Lenk, was built downstream from the richest sulphurous alpine spring, Balmen. Today, the spring is an integral part of the architecture of Lenkerhof Gourmet Spa Resort, a hotel with a remarkable range of well-being treatments. Named after the location of the Simme's source, and inspired by the vitality of the gushing water, the "7 Sources Beauty & Spa" offers a real rejuvenation in a natural wood and stone décor. Surrounded by sumptuous landscapes, the location is also an invitation to make the most of the joys of the mountains in all seasons.
The Lenkerhof Gourmet Spa Resort has implemented an ISO 14001 standard certified environmental management system. This initiative enables the resort to improve its resources management in an environmentally conscious way.
Lenkerhof's environmental management system takes all of the property's stakeholders into account. Employees are involved in the continual improvement of initiatives put in place to responsibly manage resources and to reduce the impact of the property's activities. A suggestion box allows each staff member to put forward projects to limit water and energy consumption and improve waste management. Suppliers are selected based on their social responsibility, among other criteria. Lenkerhof's environmental policy has been designed to obtain concrete results without compromising quality and comfort for guests.
