At the end of the 17th century, the first spa hotel, the Bad Lenk, was built somewhat further downhill from the richest Alpine sulfur springs north of the Alps, the Balmen. Up until the turn of the millennium, sulfur was used as a remedy, and you can still drink it to this day. Historical documents and a mix of nostalgic spa room elements and modern architecture shape the Lenkerhof Gourmet Spa Resort, a first-class hotel offering a wide range of wonderful wellness treatments. The “7sources” is named after “Siebenbrünnen” (“Seven Springs”), the place from which the Simme River emerges, and is thus inspired by the energy and vitality of the spring.
