In Japan, the arrival of spring brings with it the promise of cherry blossoms - sakura in Japanese - and beautiful landscapes that range from white to pronounced pink. It is a time for celebrating life and calls for picnics in the parks, sitting below the cherry trees to enjoy all their beauty.
