In the heart of the Træna archipelago in northern Norway, Husøy is home to a fishing community that has lived in harmony with nature and cultivated its unique sense of tradition for generations. This powerful cultural heritage permeates Ytri. Its wooden architecture, drawing inspiration from traditional Norwegian fishers’ houses, blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings and offers panoramic views of the rugged beauty of the archipelago’s mountains. Guests can enjoy these vistas from spacious lounges as well as from rooms and suites decorated in a cozy yet minimalist Nordic style. Here, you are immersed in the traditions of the Arctic Circle. This authentic Scandinavian experience–including hiking and whale watching–extends to Ytri’s restaurant, where every dish is inspired by the day’s catch and local ingredients.

Ytri Island Retreat

ALMA

Zanzibar White Sand has set its anchor down along the eastern coast of the archipelago of Zanzibar. In the heart of a luxurious ecosystem, the establishment has had the finesse to integrate itself in complete discretion. Each villa is nestled in tropical vegetation, refreshed by the Indian Ocean, and has a living area of 500 sq. meters located within a 1500 sq. meters lush garden for complete privacy.
The restaurant serves local fish and produce from the vegetable garden, which are subtly enhanced by the famous spices of Zanzibar that may also be found as the foundations for the spa's original treatments. Whether diving or kitesurfing, the warm turquoise waters of the beach are the ideal playground after a safari on continental Africa.
