L’Envers du Décor is the place to go for wine enthusiasts and professionals from the region and elsewhere. The historic wine bar recently got a much more modern facelift, but it has kept all its original charm. Wine crate labels, beautiful bottles, and wood furniture are stylishly accented with touches of red creating an upscale spot for wine tasting. Chef Bertrand Bordenave’s farm-to-table menu arouses the senses and surprises the palate with culinary artistry and the finest fresh local ingredients. The classic dishes include prime rib, lamb shoulder, andouillette sausage, and roast chicken – and don’t forget the signature Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. Opened in 1987, L’Envers du Décor has become a genuine institution. In 2017, it was left to the Perse family who own Château Pavie.
Main Restaurant: Monday, Thursday noon, Sunday.
