Madam Carol Duval-Leroy, Président of Duval-Leroy honoured us with her presence in London on 18 November 2019 for the Champagne Duval-Leroy Sustainability Trophy ceremony.
“Our commitment to sustainability is a vital part of our vision, centred around a set of ‘best practices’ that we follow in order to protect the world in which we live and work. We limit the use of plastic, for example, preferring recycled or recyclable materials. We favour local and seasonable produce and avoid the use of pesticides in Capofaro’s vineyards and vegetable gardens. We are aware that we have a great potential for multiplying the message of sustainability by including our team members, our guests and our partners on the island, like through the events that maîtresse de maison Margherita Vitale organises with her team for World Oceans Day and Food for Change. We carefully consider the impact of each of our decisions on the ecosystem and are therefore happy and honoured to know that our efforts have been recognised.”
