Nestled among vast water gardens and rose gardens, Les Prés d’Eugénie recalls a hamlet of beautiful pastoral homes decorated with works of art, antiques and rare paintings. In this "extraordinary garden", Michel Guérard’s refined cuisine, awarded 3 stars in the Michelin Guide, draws upon heritage, nature and the unexpected. On the edge of a meadow, an old 18th century Landes farm is now home to a thermal spa of 1,000 m² in a dreamlike setting complete with exclusive rituals. Rural, chic, idyllic, hedonistic and historic... experience the many sides of Eugénie, a romantic haven in which to indulge the senses, pamper the body and free the soul.
Reconcile hedonism and healthy eating: a challenge met successfully by Michel Guérard. On the menu: exquisite slimming cuisine, culinary curiosities and bike excursions.
Here, the ingredients have not traveled far: all are locally sourced (except the lobster, which comes from Brittany), and are on the whole organic. The vegetable garden provides an abundance of aromatic herbs and tomatoes, and the caviar is sourced from the neighbouring Pyrenees. An active partner in European Obesity Day, the property has even put its CO2 emissions on a diet, with floors that keep cool in the summer to eliminate the need for air conditioning and electric vehicles for the staff. Even the guests are also encouraged to cycle! The property is heated with thermal spring water, which then waters the gardens. All of which means a stay here is good for you, and also the planet!
