In Vonnas, Georges Blanc, emblematic Chef and visionary businessman, has developed a veritable Gourmet Village on the river bank, around a reconstruction of the inn of his great grandparents. Together with his family, Blanc constantly reinvents Bresse specialties through creations such as the “crêpe vonnassienne” with salmon and caviar or the legendary Bresse chicken with foie gras. Visits are available upon request to one of the five most exceptional cellars in the world, with more than 135,000 bottles. In just under five hectares of grounds, discover a heavenly spa, an aquatic space next to a pond and a large, landscaped park that is illuminated at night.

Vonnas and the Village Blanc

Start your day with a hearty breakfast served in the form of a large buffet, renowned in the region for its homemade Viennese pastries and cakes. Comfortably installed in our breakfast room at the Georges Blanc Parc & Spa hotel, time seems to stand still. Then go for a bucolic walk in the heart of Vonnas, then wander through the aisles of our fine grocery store. In chef Georges Blanc's Boutique Gourmande, you will find a selection of high quality products, most of which are used in the chef's gourmet restaurant. Let our sommeliers advise you on purchasing bottles in the wine cellar and marvel in our decoration store. Then continue your stroll through our dovecote park before discovering our new and exciting outdoor museum. Finally, go for a walk or a bike ride in the beautiful Ain department (electric bikes are at your disposal).
