A charming small medieval city, Sint-Truiden showcases multiple testimonies of its rich past. The unmissable church of the Beguinage, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracts visitors with its impressive collection of murals, but there are also plenty of other historically significant sites worth discovering, including Huis Nagels, a splendid property, dating from 1892, previously the house of a notary and which combines several architectural styles. In good weather, the city's inhabitants enjoy a pleasant walk around the old ramparts.

Classified as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, the fortifications and ancient quartiers of the city of Luxembourg offer a rewarding environment for immersing visitors in medieval, classical and contemporary architecture. This walking route leads from the Place de la Constitution to Notre-Dame Cathedral, passing through the Porte du Grund, the Corniche and the Grand-Ducal Palace. Beyond its financial power, Luxembourg is similarly rich in the quality of its built heritage.

Metz is a rare treasure–a medieval city with so much more to offer. There is Saint-étienne Cathedral, the Cour d'Or Museum, Place d'Armes and Place Sainte-Croix. There are also the many alleys, including Taison and En-Fournirue, where the Maison des Têtes–the former Récollets convent which now houses the European Institute of Ecology– can be found.
