In 1967, the Chappellet family founded Chappellet on Pritchard Hill©, becoming only the second post-prohibition winery in the Napa Valley.
A pioneer of high-altitude vineyards, Chappellet is regarded as one of the benchmarks for mountain Cabernet Sauvignons, making Pritchard Hill one of the most celebrated winemaking regions in the world.
