A voyage on the lagoon

With each motu-tiny islets set amid the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon-the atoll invites you to encounter nature in all its splendor. This boat trip includes a visit to Bird Island, a natural refuge for several endemic species of the Tuamotu Archipelago, and a Robinson Crusoe-style lunch on an unspoiled motu.

Swimming with manta rays

Just a five-minute boat ride from the hotel, the site of the former Tikehau pearl farm has become something of a meeting place for the lagoon's manta rays. You can observe these fascinating creatures up close as you snorkel on the surface or dive beneath the waves, watching as small fish-wrasses-helpfully remove parasites attached to their skin.
