While travelling through the region on a humanitarian mission in 2001, philanthropists Lee and Penny Anderson found their way to the Croatian city of Orebić. It was love at first sight — a place where they could bring together both their passion for wine and their admiration for exquisite Dalmatian hospitality.

Standing proudly like an oppidum atop a hill, Villa Korta Katarina rises above the Adriatic and surrounding vineyards with undeniable majesty. In this blue paradise, the tranquility is disturbed only by the sound of waves carried from the Anse de la Garoupe below–the cove can easily be reached via a short private path. Amid this unique landscape of umbrella pines and ochre rocks–scenery that inspired artists including Nicolas de Staël and Pablo Picasso–stands a large, beautiful mansion: Villa Miraé. At the foot of the Old City of Luxembourg, encircled by grounds more than a century old crafted by celebrated landscape designer Edouard André, Villa Pétrusse has made its home in a private residence, an architectural jewel that is emblematic of the city’s late-19th-century transformation. In the southeast of Sri Lanka lies the Wild Coast Tented Lodge — a haven of twenty eight cocoon-like tents placed at the edge of the jungle and beach.
