Utterly mad – go skiing almost all year long

"Skiing throughout the year, from autumn to summer? This miracle is within reach just a few kilometres from the Jagdhof hotel. The Stubai glacier is in fact the largest skiable glacier of Austria, with guaranteed snow from October to June and 34 slopes for every level of difficulty. In winter, do not miss the unforgettable 10-kilometre slope from Wildspitz resort, located at an altitude of 3,120 metres, and finishing downhill at 1,750 metres. If you wish, you can strap on your skis in the morning and come back and rest by the outdoor pool in the afternoon. An opportunity you will have nowhere else..."

"Of course, it takes a bit of effort to wake up so early on holiday, but the experience of seeing the sun rise over the mountains, from 2,200 metres, more than makes up for the short sleep! Our excursion begins at the hotel, before dawn. From there, we taxi to Sennjoch, where we arrive just as the sky turns a beautiful golden blue and the peaks gleam with daybreak. An unforgettable sight! Followed by a traditional breakfast in the mountains before a stroll in the valley."
