Paul, together with his Harris hawks Bertie, Titch and Bumble, will offer guests a unique experience.After a short introduction to the hawks, you’ll take a 60-90 minutes’ walk and learn about these impressive birds of prey. Observe as the hawks leave and return to the glove on command, swooping and soaring overhead with phenomenal speed and agility.
The 85-acre Furleigh Estate comprises vineyards, lakes and grazing land surrounded by woodland. The area is teaming with wildlife; with buzzards flying overhead; deer, pheasants, partridges and herons. The former dairy farm is now a modern and productive vineyard and winery with over 22,000 vines mainly of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meurnier which produces classic quality sparkling wines. Take a stroll through the vineyard accompanied by a knowledgeable guide and then finish with a tasting of a selection of still and sparkling wines.
