Fürstensteig & Drei Schwestern

The royal trail or "Fürstensteig" is one of the most famous trails in the Rätikon mountain range, and a Liechtenstein favourite.The trail begins at Alp Gaflei with a magnificent view of the Alps, 1,400 metres above sea level. It will take you through alpine pastures and mugo pines, offering you breathtaking views of Vaduz and Schaan before heading up and overlooking Garsälli in the Liechtenstein Alp area. Fürstensteig is a unique experience. The difficult sections are secured with wire ropes and railings. Once you've reached Gafleisattel, you will see the Drei Schwestern (or Three Sisters) before continuing north to Alp Gafadura and Planken.
