The quiet outdoor life

"Located on the edge of Lake Annecy and surrounded by mountains, the Auberge du Père Bise is a veritable haven of peace, beneficial to your well-being and conducive to relaxation. There is something for everyone: tourist excursions, paragliding, cycling, fishing, hiking, paddling in the water... We want the Auberge du Père Bise to retain its family feel and reputation as a place to experience special moments and simple emotions, where hospitality, sharing and generosity are important to us."

Paragliding over Lake Annecy

Paragliding originated in our region in the late 70s. Between the beaches on the banks of Lake Annecy and the mountain peaks, Talloires offers two of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe. To really appreciate this magnificent view from the Col de la Forclaz or the Col de Planfait, get strapped into a paraglider and fly over Lake Annecy, accompanied by a seasoned instructor. Experience a wonderful feeling of freedom from the moment you take off.

Cycle to Annecy on electric bikes

The few kilometers separating us from Annecy are easily covered on electric bikes via the Voie Verte cycle path that passes through the countryside and goes along the east side of the lake. Meander along the charming streets of "Venice of the Alps", stopping to admire the most famous landmarks in the town. When the farmers' market is on, you can stock up on authentic local produce.

Explore Lake Annecy with paddle boards or kayaks

Our establishment is uniquely situated on the banks of the purest lake in Europe. Go kayaking or stand up paddle boarding from our private beach and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the Roc de Chère nature reserve, a small wooded mountain range that extends over the lake, then the Château de Duingt, which appears to be floating on the water. Between the two, you can explore the wilder "Petit Lac". Be sure to take an invigorating dip in the crystal clear water before you leave.
