Paragliding over Lake Annecy

Paragliding originated in our region in the late 70s. Between the beaches on the banks of Lake Annecy and the mountain peaks, Talloires offers two of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe. To really appreciate this magnificent view from the Col de la Forclaz or the Col de Planfait, get strapped into a paraglider and fly over Lake Annecy, accompanied by a seasoned instructor. Experience a wonderful feeling of freedom from the moment you take off.

Take an e-bike ride to Annecy

The Lake Annecy voie verte, or ‘greenway’ is one of the oldest car-free trails in France. Hop on an e-bike provided by Auberge du Père Bise and enjoy a peaceful day out to Annecy, following the lake shore and winding into the countryside. Stroll through the historic streets of the 'Venice of the Alps' and admire its iconic landmarks. On market days, you can taste local specialties by artisanal producers.

Explore Lake Annecy by stand-up paddleboard or kayak

Situated on the shores of Lake Annecy, Auberge du Père Bise offers two waterborne ways to enjoy the local scenery. From its private beach, you can set off on a stand-up paddleboard or in a kayak for a tranquil outing. Make your way first along the coast to the Roc de Chère Nature Reserve–a tranquil, shady, tree-covered haven–then cross the water to explore Château de Duingt, which appears to float upon the water on a small peninsula. Then explore the southern basin of the lake, known as Petit Lac (or ‘Small Lake’), which feels more wild and secluded than its northern sibling. Finally, treat yourself to a refreshing dip in these crystal-clear waters, renowned for their purity.
