Built in the 16th century, the palace is located in Norcia, in the heart of the National Park of the Sibylline Mountains. The Bianconi family that owns this Relais & Châteaux establishment in Umbria has always been aware of the importance of enhancing and protecting the land on which it has been living since 1850. All the actions implemented contribute to preserving the exceptional environment of the region. The establishment educates guests about the safeguarding of natural heritage by celebrating local produce at its one Michelin star restaurant, Vespasia. Palazzo Seneca offers its guests all kinds of experiences to show them the best of what nature has to offer, starting with a walk in the woods to harvest exquisite Norcia black truffles.
Relais & Châteaux commends Palazzo Seneca in helping to making the world a better place through its restaurant and hospitality and actions aligned with the Relais & Châteaux Manifesto presented to Unesco in 2014.
