In a gorgeously green and unspoilt part of Pennsylvania, halfway between Pittsburgh and Buffalo, lies this charming lodge on a 1500-acre property. Built in the 1920s and handed down from one generation of the Dorn family to the next, Glendorn is now owned by J. Cliff Forrest who ensures it retains all its original charm and authenticity. The main lodge and individual cabins are built with sequoia wood and blend perfectly into the breathtaking natural surroundings. In the forest of hemlock spruces, it is not uncommon to spot foxes, deer, bears or beavers and there are 7.25km of privately owned banks along Fuller Brook for fly fishing, accompanied by experienced guides. With numerous options for adventure, plus top-calibre culinary experiences, and the Forest Spa, there is something for every member of the family to enjoy.
Unique in the world:

This is my husband's and my sixth or seventh trip to the Glendorn and it never disappoints. Always warm and welcoming, the service remains consistently great.
