Overlooking the Irish Sea, Glenapp Castle is the prime example of a Scottish Baronial-style castle. Surrounded by 15-hectare grounds full of majestic rhododendrons, the stately theme continues on the inside. Although built in the late 19th century, this castle draws on Gothic and Renaissance styles to give it a fairytale-like appeal. Its crenelations, towers, turrets and warm decor make it one of Scotland's most romantic castles.
