Who knew you could experience Egypt from Spain? Cuartel de la Montaña Park is home to a masterpiece of Egyptian antiquity. To save it from flood damage during construction of the Aswan dam, this Nubian temple dating from the 2nd century BC and dedicated to the god Amun, was dismantled and gifted to Spain by the Egyptian government.
