Château de Feuilles manages the private island paradise Grande Sœur Island. The property is now actively protecting this hub of biodiversity.
Grande Sœur Island is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Seychelles. Between its two beaches there is a grove of coconut palms and takamaka trees with giant land tortoises that lay their eggs there at night. Château de Feuilles has set out to protect this habitat's treasures by reintroducing native Seychelles birds like the pie chanteuse (magpie robin), oiseau à lunettes (olive white-eye) and the veuve noire (black widow). Tourism is also regulated to protect this little slice of heaven.
