Château St. Gerlach has a long history, it goes back to the twelfth century and references can still be found here today. Hospitality was then and is still very important at the estate. In the past the pilgrims who visited the grave of St. Gerlachus, later the noble unmarried ladies who housed in the cloister and for the last decades our guests.
Château St. Gerlach offers a collection of enticing experiences and provides a legacy that goes beyond expectation. Based on the concepts of inspiration, craftsmanship and hospitality, each touchpoint, from location through to cuisine and our team, provides its own story, where passion and expertise allow our guests to feel right at home.
Our goal is to transcend the ordinary. Where guests can look back on a stay where they have felt at home. And where they enjoyed and experienced the combination of an unique surrounding, culinary delights with a local touch, friendly people and nice activities.
Like many of our guests I can enjoy a nice run or walk trough the direct surrounding of Château St Gerlach. Occassionaly guests even join me on a morning trail run. Also local wine makers are getting more and more recognition for their products, and visiting them inspires me to incorporate more local produce in our gastrronomic offerings at the Château.
