48 hours in Palombaggia|through the eyes of Lili Barbery

Infused with the aromas of the maquis, the Bergeries de Palombaggia hotel sidles up to the hillside and overlooks one of southern Corsica's most beautiful beaches of turquoise waters and white sand, surrounded by stone pines. Slightly farther in the distance are the Îles Cerbicales.

At Bergeries de Palombaggia, there is the constant feeling of being a part of a painting. The refined architecture of natural stones has but one mission: to showcase nature.

No matter whether the sky is cloudy or bright blue, the views over the sea are stunning. Here the landscape from the restaurant's terrace.

In the rooms, the grey tones are mixed with touches of vibrant colors.

Between the Corsican cheeses, charcuterie, brioche, pastries, and fresh fruit, there is everything to ensure an unforgettable breakfast at Palombaggia.

Located directly above the reception area, this room offers a breathtaking view of the swimming pool and sea. It is what could easily be called "a room with a view"!

As for dining, the restaurant's fine cuisine is inspired by local Corsican products. The dishes display a strong temperament and bold character.

The must-do: Wake up at dawn for a walk along the still deserted beach of Palombaggia. It is a splendor of white sand and fading pastel colors.

Each evening, the sun kisses the pool as it sets behind the Corsican mountains.
