On the road in South Africa

Here I am, 9,000 km from France, in a country that is not a complete mystery to me: South Africa. Before our first visit, I had always been told that once you visit the country, you become an enthusiast for life. This, I can confirm.

South Africa is an extraordinary country that offers so many splendours. We first set our bags down in Johannesburg's Sandton area at the AtholPlace Hotel. It is a magnificent place where it's best to let yourself be lulled by the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. It feels good here.

Everything is charming and absolutely delicius. I felt like I was at home.
The hotel has a total of 9 rooms and suites, wich is especially appreciated when you want to make a peaceful break.
We had lunch and dinner at AtholPlace, which held for us some lovely culinary discoveries.
After this first stage, sweet in every respect, we took to the road again, in the direction of the reserves, 500 km away.
