On an excursion through the Fragsburg magic forest with our Modern Alchemist Renate De Mario Gamper, who derives from a South Tyrolean nature women clan, you will encounter nature as a being and living organism. Renate teaches you what it means to communicate with trees and plants, to engage with these entities and their essential properties and to gratefully accept their healing power and magical treasures. Part of this "sensory expedition" is a picnic with fresh specialities from Renate’s herbs and healing cuisine, inspired by recipes from the German medieval mystic, cosmologist and natural scientist Hildegard von Bingen.
Wellness is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of our increasingly disrupted world and society. Our alchemical healing spa Castellum Natura is based on the holistic concept: to treat body, mind and soul equally, to bring them into harmony and thus to improve the quality of life and health of the guests. Our Modern Alchemist and herbalist Renate De Mario Gamper creates and prepares every care product with hand-picked flowers, moon essence and herbs based on traditional recipes and the knowledge of modern science. Every beauty & healing treatment, every massage, every bath is a ritual that honors people in their wholeness.
Majestic mountains, ancient trees, mystical legends, sparkling waterfalls and deep forests surround hundreds of historic castles. The snow is on the glaciers and the palm trees are sprouting in the valley. This is not a fantasy landscape, but the description of the northernmost region of Italy: South Tyrol. In addition to its unreal beauty, it is also the land of precious wine and the most delicious cuisine. For centuries, Castel Fragsburg thrones on a private mountain with 50,000 square meters of park and forest, a lovely hunting lodge, the 17th-century Maternum and the 13th-century medieval knight's castle, Paternum. The highest waterfall in South Tyrol plunges 135 meters into the depths in just 10 minutes by foot.
They are called the enchanted mountains because for centuries the legends of the dwarf king Laurin and his petrified rose garden, the Fanes princess Dolasilla and the Schlern witches surround the pink, glowing rock towers, with 117 three thousand metre peaks, their highest point rise 3343 metres into the sky. A helicopter flight over this bombastic natural spectacle cannot be described in words. You will be picked up at Castel Fragsburg’s private heliport by an experienced Dolomite pilot and flown back right to our entrance portal.
