A paradise for avid bird watchers, Beaumont Lake (23 km away) is the ideal place to observe the courtship rituals of breeding birds such as grebes, marsh terns and Eurasian bitterns.
A hot air balloon flight over the châteaux of the Loire is a truly unique experience! You'll be picked up in Cheverny at dawn or dusk and driven to the take-off site, which will be chosen by the pilot depending on the wind. Departure points include Blois, Chambord, Chaumont sur Loire and Fougères sur Bièvre.
