We love that each room at Cordeillan-Bages, whether facing the vineyards or the garden, provides a distinctive pleasure in a cosy setting bathed in light. The new natural and spacious décor showcase the elegant materials used: linen, leather, wood, stone and marble. As you stroll through the hotel, you can admire original artwork by Pierre Alechinsky, Emilio Perez, Antoni Tapiès, Swie Hian Tan...
I prepared our wine list featuring 1,500 wines for guests who come to discover the region. I offer grand crus from Bordeaux as well as a magnificent selection of wines from elsewhere. This effort earned the restaurant a spot as a finalist in the “2017 Tour des Cartes” in the Michelin-starred Luxury Hotels and Restaurants category. Continue the experience with a wine-tasting class and a châteaux tour.
Village by village, vineyard by vineyard, château by château, and port by port, discover the authentic soul of Médoc at the wheel of a vintage car or a Citroën 2CV, on a Harley Davidson, in a horse-drawn carriage, on a bicycle or even by helicopter! Our team hopes that you’ll retain the image of our region as a welcoming and accessible world of wine, and an essential stop along the route of Bordeaux châteaux.
For an entire vintage, from vineyard to bottle, Viniv allows you to delve into the art of winemaking and create your own wine variety with the most coveted appellations d’origine contrôlées of Bordeaux. With the help of astute advisors from the Lynch-Bages team, select your grape variety and parcels to create your own blend and label. The result will be unforgettable moments of sharing that will mark your events.
In Cordeillan-Bages, tea time is the perfect opportunity for a little wine, with a glass of champagne also on offer for those who prefer a little bubbly. You can also choose from a selection of organic and fair-trade coffees and teas from Bordeaux-based house Destination Grand Comptoir. Tuck into a traditional cannelé cinnamon sponge or homemade sweet treats served on a vine leaf, or go for a refreshing fruit salad scattered with verbena from the garden.
