Le Chabichou

Located at the foot of the slopes, the Chabichou offers direct access to the largest ski area in the world with 7 linked resorts and 373 miles of skiing with a total of 327 trails. Situated between 6,070 and 8,858 feet, Courchevel benefits from optimal snow conditions for skiing throughout the season. The resort is suitable for skiers of all levels, and has alpine slopes bordered by fir trees passing among the high mountains and glaciers. An "Easy Rider" area allows beginners to learn to ski in complete safety. For children, the 3 Valleys ski area has 40 themed ski runs, a family snow park, a zip line and numerous activities for all ages. Passing from one valley to another, you can enjoy the extraordinary panorama of the Alps and its thousand peaks, including Mont Blanc, the Barre des Ecrins, the Vanoise glacier, and the Pierra Menta. Seasoned skiers can try out freeriding, or take "Le Grand Couloir", the steepest ski run in the 3 Valleys, located above the village of Courchevel.
